:: Another day in the life of Lauren Bradley ::

This weekend was one of interest.... and non-interest!

Friday night, the ladies and I got up and hung out! Jessica and I went to Jason's party, at his house. They had a keg of budweiser. And 5 people to it. WOW huh? Yeah WOW is what I said Sat. morning when I woke up. lol, so we kicked it with Jason, and Dylan for a bit, met a few new people. Then when the drama of the Ninja and Dylan went down, me and Jessica bounced. We ended up going to meet Nick at some party out off London Bridge. There they also had a keg, but alot more people. Rob and Fields were there, which was pretty cool. And a few other people we have met over time. Jessica ran into one of her friends from middle school, really random!! lol. I ended up taking Jessica home, and going to my moms apartment and crashed out!

Saturday morning was a painful one. Believe me, waking up in the middle of the living room floor, with only jeans on. lmao. Owell. I went and got my Lisa, she was in town for the weekend. We headed up to the Pavillion to the car show! There were some nice cars there, not TOO many tho. The old school shits were the shit. The rest were just tuners, or the bass off. Which by the way, I wanted to enter but had a full tank of gas, so there went that idea. Owell. Me, Lisa, Chicken, Rosa, lil D, lil d's daughter, Jeremy, and the boys went to plaza azteca for lunch, then we all went home for a nap! Me and Lisa kicked it at mom dukes house til about 930ish. And then headed over to Jamie and Dwaynes to party. That was interesting, and fun.

Sunday morning was a much better morning! Thank god! My head was killing me on Sat. morning! Hangovers SUCK, trust me, I don't normally get them. Missy is now living with Kim in Norfolk with 3 other dogs and 3 cats. She is happy having other dogs to play with, Im proud of my baby for behaving also. She just better not start messing up. Or I will be back in the same position I was in before.

Tonight is the Nickleback show with Nicole, Jeremy and Ashley. Can't wait. We will have a blast for sure!!!! YAY! [=

And I am at work right now, and its a pay day. Word right?

Not sure what EXACTLY is going on this weekend, cept the car show/bass off tomorrow and the ECSC all weekend, so might have to do both. I can't surf but I can take the neon to the bass off, and see how she does. Then go check out some hotties! Forrrr Sureeee lol.

Lisa may be coming in this weekend. That be fun! I wana see my girl. And I might go to a party with my boy Nick. We see what happens, I don't know yet. Holler at me

OMG I just wrote like 3 paragraphs, and accidently deleted it. OMFG, Grrr....

So once again. I started a new book this week. Its called Summer Desserts, and we all know who wrote it. Nora Roberts, who else? lol I always read a novel from her, she is my favorite author. If you havent read one of her books, get crackin, she is great!

Poor Lisa got stuck at 711 lastnight, she lost the keys or they got stolen, not too sure yet where they are! Wish I could help her, but I can't. They are there now to help her tho, so she will be on her way here soon! Lol, she was writing me about people. Just like the night we were at Walmart joking people, had me WEAK as hell off the DMX joke. lmao. we were all dying!

Well went running lastnight with jeremy at plaza middle, around the track. We chit chatted and shit. Had fun. We will have to do it more often, so that I can run more than walk. Owell excersise is excersise. So w.e with it.

ME and Grace are going to Chucky Cheese tonight with Andrew, can't wait.
He has been so good so I can't wait to go. Well that is if he brings home a goody gram. If not we aren't going, he better bring one home, or Imma kick his ass lol. He is so adorable...

Went and kicked it over at Dani and Jeremys house lastnight, Nik, Ash, Brehn, D, Rosa, and I str8 kicked it. We all had fun, poor Jeremy prolly feels like he has 10 wives lol. Owell you be alright nigga, we won't turn you gay! lol. He start carrying a pocket book, I'm stop talking to him. The bud light we were drinking was SO nice and COLD. Ahhhh refreshing. :: Weekend man ::

Well this weekend was alot of fun. Friday night we drank and chilled at graces house for her and craigs little birthday bash! we all had alot of fun, played pool and jsut kicked it. Grace had me dying, she was so tore up sitting on the couch. My brother came and got me for a little bit. And so I went with him out to the races, haha, I was so drunk lol. had fun out there tho. talked mad junk. Saw alot of faces I haven't seen in awhile. It was nice.

Saturday I got up and went to the mall for a little while. Then met Jeremy and some of his friends out at Jenro's for a little while. Then again saw some more people that I haven't seen in awhile. So there we go again, had a little bit of fun, they all dragged me to the spot again! Which was ok, but I didn't stay long. Ended up going over to Danielle's and Jeremy's house. And visited with some friends. We all got crunk. And just chilled. I finally went to bed after about 5am. Lol... dang long weekend.

Sunday I went to the company cookout and the Tides game. They lost against the Richmond Braves, so I didn't get too mad! Thennnn I went to the beach with Steph and Jay, and my brother.......Now I am at work and am about to get off so I can go kick it over at Dani's house for a little while.

I have only worked for 2 days this is cool, got paid for whole week, but only worked 2 days, thats pretty hott. lol...

So on the agenda tonight::: Get off work, go home and take a shower and thennnnnn going to grandmas for a little while, then going over to graces house for the evening to drink and have some fun....... Sat. who knows whats going on, but I am sleeping in thats for sure! lol. And Sunday I have the tides game/company cookout sooo, this weekend shall be interesting huh?

:: Holy Vacation time ::

Man oh man, where do I begin? Oh yeah last week...

Friday- Went to the movies with Brandi, Jamie, Lisa... we went and saw 1408 at Cinema Cafe, that movie was nuts. Welll kinda sorta, it def. could have been alot scarier but it wasn't. Then me and Jamie went over and kicked it with jessica, then nicky and sara showed up and kicked it with us also. Then I took Jamie home and I went home and went to bed.

Saturday- Got up with Grace and we hit the road, well after of course we went and got my alterations done with stephanie, her mom and dawn. The wedding is in less than a month, I can't believe it. Can't wait. But then we headed up to richmond, and got up there at about 2pm, we hung out with my family, went to UKROPS and got me some rainbow cookies, and uncle davids birthday cake. Then we all went to outback and had dinner. I had gone friday night and got some flowers for my grandpops grave and so the whole family went out and put up the flowers. Made me feel so good! Sat. night I came home and crashed out at about 1230.

Sunday- I got up with Sarah for the day. Me and her went around and honestly don't really remember everything we did, cept going to Travis house, and then to Brandi house later on in the night, after we scooped Smitty. So we all chilled and did w.e and then called it a night.

Monday- Went and got the neon a tune up/oil change/inspection, $160 later here I am, and the car is running a little bit better, not by much tho! Owell. Then I kicked it with Titties and Brent out in derby for a little while..... then called it a night

Tuesday- can't say anything cept LINKIN PARK PROJEKT REVOLUTION TOUR!~holy cow! me and brandi had so much fun, I can't believe I saw them live, I lost my MIND that night, omg, i cried my eyes out I was so excited to see them perform, you have NO idea! Noone does. It was like a childhood dream coming true. I am the biggest fan I swear I love them boys........ But we had a blast, and drank and chilled. Jonesy and his girl were with us at that time also, we all had a blast! Then I went over to Jessicas and Frisco had the kittens so I hung out over there for awhile and visited with her and josh, and courtney, we sat up til like 5am then we all decided to go to bed finally. Had drank down a beer like whoa fast! Made josh look bad lol........

Wednesday- I did NOTHING, cept sit at my grandmas house and relax.........

Now I am back at work and chillen........ love yall, my vacation was alot of fun!

Going to Richmond again tomorrow morning, Grace is riding with me up there. Going to visit my aunt who is in town from Tennessee, and of course my uncle, and rest of the family. Hoping that David is doing better than he has been doing! I love that man, and I hope he is getting better, or I will have to hurt somone! Not even kidding. He claims they are being mean to him, but with how confused he is about where he is, we don't know if thats true or not. Soooo unless we see other wise, or he starts to really tell us other wise, we can't jump to conclusions. Them old people in there are weak tho. They be following the nurses, Id be like if you don't carry your old ass some place and play some cards. LMAO Im too mean, sike i would love to work there, I love old ladies. And men. They just creepy.

Today is just another day in life, nothing exciting, or drama either! Just been one more day in 2007 thats past me by. And nothing lastnight either, well went to dinner with Mom, and Stevo, but thats about it. Nothing more!

Friday night I kicked it with Brandi, Lisa, Craig, Grace, Ben, Aaron, Pickens, and well Clutch stopped by later on that night (can we say Awkward) actually it wasn't that bad really. Me and Brandi kicked butt on air hockey, my god damn ribs felt liek they were caving in, i was laughing SO hard. lol I literally couldnt breathe. Lisa had me DYING! And we all know why we were laughing so hard lmao. Soooooo..... thas all imma say. But then I got focused and me and Brandi were going nuts on the air hocket table. I felt retarted the way I was standing. Lol.....I felt all cippled and shit! lmao, lisa was weak! W/e who cares. We all had alot of fun! Then I watched Norbit with them, bairly remember the movie, NO BS. Lol. but I remember seeing so many people, esp. kay williams.

I went up to Richmond on Saturday morning. And well seeing my uncle that way, just wasn't cool at all.... but there is nothing that I can do to change that right now! Hopefully we can get some answers from some lawyers, and get him back as healthy as we can get him. I don't want my uncle living the rest of his life miserable, he is only 52 years old, he could live to be 90, and this is what he would be living with for the rest of his life. And I don't want that to happen. I refuse!

I know life will take its own path, and there is nothing else that we can do about it, but I don't want to see this happen to him. This crap always happens to those people who are so kinda and generous their whole lives. Meanwhile, the scum bags that are in jail for life, are completely healthy and living perfectly fine. It doens't make any sense to me, the way "god" makes choices for people, I just don't understand it. I mean Im not saying anything against him, but wtf dude. Its just ridiculous how things are done. And well Im going to leave my thoughts out of this bulliten............ Wonder why some don't believe I tell ya! (not saying I don't)

I finished my book lastnight, after cleaning the HELL out of my bedroom. Its so clean and smells so good now, and Im not done yet. Tonight I am going to dust and clean up things, a little bit more, make the room a little more girly, it doesnt look like a chicks room right now, well I guess the pink stuff, and scents everywhere would make it look girly enough haha. Lisa said that brandi did her room yesterday from not having time to since she moved in. Thats great I love a clean room! Even tho in a week it will be a disaster again. Lol... Owell..

I am at work now and just hanging, I got all my morning work done, and now I am just doing my thang for the day.......

Welll this time tomorrow I will be visiting my family, can't wait!!! Im excited to see my uncle, have been wanting to see him since all this nonsense started. :-)

Today has been a good/day at work, the office has been going nuts due to our pt. chart program not working! GO figure~!! lol But we have had some nice conversation today as well. The girls here are a trip, they can all have their moments, but thats what happens when you have a bunch of women working in the same place haha. But we do have some interesting/great conversations about things, we are always having a good time. I love it here. Wish they would unblock all the sites they blocked, we get bored, esp. with our program down, caught rhonda staring into space earlier lol. I do it too....

Might as well take advantage of my spare time at work, I started a new book today its of course a Nora Roberts novel, the title is "First Impressions" and it has been great so far. It is about a girl who moved away from her small town for a little while to become a teacher, and returned home after 4 yrs. because she just doesnt think she has the temperment to deal with children. While she was gone her grandmother passed away and left her with the house. She has decided to fullfill her all time dream with America's history and open a antique shop/museum. So with the help of her new found neighbor, they start to go over what needs repairing. Her new neighbor came off as a rude man, and well she is getting to know his better side. The story behind him, that she doesnt know of yet, is that he is a wealthy business man that has taken a vacation to get away from the city/the money/and the money hungry women, that keep taking advantage of him. And well thats as far as I have gotten. Can't wait to read more, speaking of which I am going to go do....holler!

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. - Javon Walker still isn't ready to talk about Darrent Williams dying in his arms in the back of a stretch Hummer limousine after they left a New Year's Eve party.

Sporting a mohawk that reminds many of the "fro-hawk" popularized by the vivacious Williams last season, Walker demurred when asked how he was doing.
"Football-wise, I feel pretty good," he said. "Last year, going into camp I was rehabbing (from two knee surgeries) and trying to learn on the run. This season, I feel healthy, feel strong and ready to give it a full go when the season starts."
Pressed about how he's dealing with Williams' death, Walker retorted: "Football, please."
Walker was the only teammate with Williams in his limo when it was sprayed with bullets as they left a Denver nightclub hours after the Broncos' season ended. Walker showed up at team headquarters in a daze hours later with a large blood stain across his shirt.
He was one of a handful of players who didn't fly with the team to Fort Worth, Texas, for Williams' funeral and had declined repeated requests for interviews all offseason.
On Wednesday, the team public relations staff ushered Walker to the podium outside the Broncos' facility to face reporters for the first time since Williams' death. Asked about breaking his silence, he said, "What better day than a day like today?"
Walker, however, talked only of football, saying he felt refreshed now that he's more than a year removed from surgery to repair his right anterior cruciate ligament, torn in Green Bay's 2006 opener.
Traded to Denver on draft day last season, Walker led the Broncos in every major receiving category, piling up 1,084 yards and eight touchdowns on 69 catches. He also became just the third wide receiver since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to record a TD run and TD catch of at least 70 yards in the same season.
He said he was eager for the new season with strong-armed, second-year pro Jay Cutler under center. Cutler took over the starting job the final five weeks of last season but the pair's timing was never ideal.
That's changed, as evidenced by Walker's two long receptions Wednesday.
"We've had a whole offseason together. ... Right now, it feels like we've played 16 games already," Walker said.
Many fans figured Walker's new hairdo was a tribute to Williams, but Walker said there was no meaning behind it.
"Just something different," he said. "I got tired of wearing the same haircut all my life. So, I wanted something new and something different (to) stand out a little bit."
Regardless, there are plenty of reminders of Williams and backup running back Damien Nash, who died in March after a charity basketball game in St. Louis. Players are wearing helmet decals with their numbers, 27 and 29.
Safety Nick Ferguson said the defensive backs were watching film recently, and there was Williams — returning an interception against Oakland, holding the ball aloft as he trotted into the end zone.
"I think we rewinded it about four or five times, and we laughed," Ferguson said.
Still, there's sadness, too.
"Different things come up and remind you of his memory on a daily basis. Some of those you celebrate. Some of those bring you down," John Lynch said. "There's a number of vivacious guys in this league, but there was something unique and very special to him. He had a spirit about him that lifted everybody."

:: Saturday Im out this piece ::

So Saturday I will be leaving to go to Richmond with my pops. We are going to visit my uncle, who is being put into a home for assisted living, they are getting him out of that physco hospital. They haven't helped him to get any better, they have been making him worse and worse every day! And its getting ridiculous, so either today or tomorrow he will be in the new place, and hope to get better so that he can go home. They got him starting a rehabilitation process so that he can return to his home, and maybe control his condition, which btw he has been diagnosed with LBD (lewy bodies dementia).

So if anyone is trying to kick it tomorrow night let me know, but I am not going to be out late, have to get up early Sat. morning! Can't wait to see my family, I really miss them. And my cousin hopfully will be up there this weekend so I can see her! So we shall see what happens. Since normally that bit in her own world, and can't make time for me, lol. We shall see tho what happens this time..... MAYBE I can take a little while and ride my dirt bike Sunday or Saturday. Get some of this built up shit out! and off my mind. And just try to not get hurt. Lol. Alex I'm sure will ride with me, I miss him and Nick, those are my little cousins, but they are just as nuts as most of my friends that I hangout with, so it will be like being around here again!

Wish I could take everyone with me up there, so you could all meet the people who made me the ways I am, crazy, and just a Bradley in general! They are a great bunch of people, but when you push them too far, watch out all hell will break lose. My aunt said she was going to sick me on the hospital people, for mis treating my uncle! I swear I will bust down them doors as if King Kong was in town. I swear!!!!!!!!!!

:: A step back in relaxation ::

Ohh this week has been so nice. Going home from work to G-mas house, and collapsing on the couch, watching movies. Its been so nice. I need this week to be calm, I can't keep going at 100mph all the time. So this week I have taken a step back, and have been lazy as hell. Getting some actual sleep.

Watched the whole thing of the Pink Panther lastnight, that movie is HILARIOUS, lol.... Lisa def. was right about that movie, the gayiest part was the tight outfits, against the wall in the end lmao. Loved that movie. Then I finally got to watch the Notebook all the way thru, that movie was so good/sad. The ending definately had me in tears. Was such a sweet ending.

Then I crashed watching Law & Order SVU. Wish I hadn't fallen asleep. But that show isn't as good as it used to be. Sorry but Mariska should be his partner for ever, this new young chick, who isn't even cute, needs to go somwhere! Lol..... sorry but your tryin to move in on my Elliot you better get to steppin, and I know somone who prolly agrees with me (lisa).

Now I am working and enjoying my day, can't wait to get off, and just go collapse back on the couch again, and finish my laundry.

That reminds me, I need to vaccum tonight, and Missy can't sleep in the house, Uncle Jim is coming tomorrow night, and I can't have her getting him sick.
